Salary :- Rs. 14000 – 49000/-

Educational Qualification: Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education or 4-Year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed.) or Pass in Teacher Eligibility Test (TET), to be conducted by the appropriate Government in accordance with the Guidelines framed by the NCTE for the purpose.

Age Limit: 18 to 38 years as on 01.01.2018

Age Relaxation:

SC/ST :- 05

Selection Process :- 

The candidate’s selection will be happening as per the below process.

  • Teacher Eligibility Test (TET)

Application fees :- 

Applicants who wanted to participate for Government of Assam should pay the below charges through Indian Postal Order in the name of Director of Elementary Education, Assam, Kahilipara, Guwahati–19.

  • Others: Rs. 200/- (Rupee two hundred only)
  • SC/ST(P)/ST(H): Rs. 150/- (Rupee one hundred fifty only)
  • BPL: No Fee
