Eligibility Criteria for Air India Careers 2017

Candidates who wish to apply for Air India Careers 2017 must satisfy following eligibility conditions as per the rules.

Educational Qualification:

  • Aircraft Technician: Candidates must have AME Diploma/Certificate in Aircraft Maintenance Engineering from Institutions approved by DGCA under Rule 133 B with 60% marks/equivalent grade (55% or equivalent grade for SC/ST/OBC candidates). Candidates from DGCA approved AME Training Institutes who are eligible, as per current list.
  • Skilled Tradesmen: Candidates must have ITI in relevant Field issued by Govt. of India or ITI / NCVT in Relevant trade.

Age Limit:

  • General Candidates: Maximum Age: 35 Years.
  • OBC Candidates:Maximum Age: 38 Years.
  • SC/ST Candidates:Maximum Age: 40 Years.

Selection Process:

Candidates are selected based on their performance in following testes.

  • Trade Test/ Interview.

Application Fee:

  • General Candidates: Rs. 1,000/-/-.
  • SC/ST Candidates: No Application Fee.
